A Care Group is a family unit where DC family members are cared for and learn to care for others; where our 12 core values are cultivated and social needs are met.
CARE stands for:
- Create relationships where there is a flow of encouragement and celebration of special days in a person’s life
- Assimilate new members into DC
- Reinforce the culture and core values of DC
- Evangelise as a small group
After you have completed My Christian Journey and call Discover Church home, you will be invited into a care group. A care leader who knows you will be the person to introduce you to a care group. It is a fun place where people really care for each other, yet you are not locked in forever! Care leaders may rotate you into another care group after one year.
